Hello! We are CLOVER & CO, a group of honors college students who decided to research the toxic romanticism of insecure attachment in Western society. We discovered the idea of attachment while reading The Tibetan Book of the Living and Dying by Sogyal Rinpoche. Rinpoche describes the Buddhist concept of attachment and how it differs from the concept of attachment commonly found in the Western world. Our group collectively found the Western view of attachment to be an issue and sought out ways to better understand the topic and spread awareness about the different types of attachment.
